Batti the Bat

Another review made me want to leave one, because I had the same experience. I don't like bats! Not real ones, not stuffed ones (and I have tons of stuffed animals), not bat decorations on Halloween, nothing. I don't have an aversion (like bugs, ew), but they're just not my thing, so even cute stuffed bats just aren't that cute to me.

But THIS lil guy? I found him in a Cracker Barrel and just HAD to buy him. Something made me fall in love with him. He is absolutely adorable! And the quality is excellent compared to most of my other stuffed animals, to the point it solidified my decision to purchase him. The fur is thick and soft, and the mechanism in his wings to position them is so cool and seems sturdy and nearly un-ruinable, unlike the wire mechanisms in many other posable stuffed animals that get squashed and deformed with use.

I already have one stuffed animal I take everywhere with me in a motorcycle backpack I bought just for him (the Build-a-Bear demogorgon, named Duffy), but while all my others stay home, this bat has quickly become my second tag-along.

It is too fun to play with the excellent doll armature in the wings. The neck fluff is incredibly soft!
My only gripe is the armature used clearly has a nice rounded end in one wing but the other wing gets a blunt flat end in the armature since it is all one piece. It doesn't make the plush any less cuddly, is just little nitpick annoyance you only notice if you play with the wings a lot.
