How to wash plushies & stuffed animals?

With every cuddle, every adventure, every comforting bedtime story - our plushies are there for you, offering their cozy companionship. But just like every superhero needs some TLC, our fluffy friends also require a bit of upkeep to stay fresh and huggable. This is why we've put together this comprehensive guide on how to clean stuffed animals and plushies, ensuring they continue to provide snuggly moments for years to come.

Step 1: Read the Care Label

First things first, always check the care label on your plushie. The care label offers specific instructions on how to clean a stuffed animal or plushie without damaging its delicate fabric or filling. Bellzi® plushies are designed with care and love, and their labels contain all the necessary information to keep them looking their best.

Step 2: Spot Cleaning

If your plushie has a small stain or a dirty spot, sometimes a spot clean can do the trick. Use a gentle detergent mixed with water and a soft cloth or sponge. Gently dab the soiled area – remember, rubbing can push the stain further into the fabric. Once cleaned, use a dry towel to blot the area and then let the plushie air dry.

Step 3: Washing Machine Method (Only if Needed!)

ONLY IF YOU HAVE TO! - For a more thorough cleaning, you can use the washing machine method. Start by placing your Bellzi plushie in a pillowcase or laundry bag to protect it during the wash cycle. Add a small amount of gentle laundry detergent to the washing machine, set it to a delicate or gentle cycle with cold water, and wish your plushie luck on their adventure! Once the cycle is complete, remove your Bellzi plushie from the laundry bag and gently squeeze out any excess water. Be careful not to wring or twist the plushie, as this can cause damage. Allow your Bellzi plushie to air dry, and avoid using a dryer, as this might scare your plushie since the heat can cause damage to their fur or stuffing. You can also turn up the heat and let the good ol' sun work its magic on your plushie for a flawless dry! No need for fancy equipment - this method is as easy and effective as it gets.

Step 4: Air Dry

The safest method to dry your freshly washed plushie is to let it air dry. Place it on a clean towel in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight which can fade its vibrant colors. You may want to reshape the plushie while it's damp to ensure it dries in its original adorable form.

Step 5: Fluff & Hug

Once your plushie is dry, give it a good fluff to restore its soft, cuddly texture. Now your Bellzi® friend is refreshed and ready for more adventures!

Knowing how to clean a stuffed animal or plushie helps maintain its softness and charm, making sure it remains a delightful companion for years to come. Remember, each Bellzi® plushie is crafted with love, designed to create warm, joyful moments. By keeping them clean, you're not just caring for a toy, but a cherished friend.

We hope this guide will help you in maintaining your Bellzi® friends' freshness and softness. So, happy cleaning, and here's to countless more cuddles and adventures with your Bellzi® plushies!
